With your help, Afrika Tikkun:

  • 358 Grade R learners graduated from our preschool programme and placed in local schools
  • 94% Matric Pass Rate with 79 Distinctions; 119 Bachelor passes & 17 Diplomas. Up from 66 distinction in 2014/2015
  • 728 unemployed young people became employable. 50% of them placed in employment/self-employment/further learning opportunities
  • 12 Beneficiaries travelled to Germany, UK, USA and Germany to participate in triathlons. 9 in 2014.
  • 546 Employment Created of which 464 are within local communities. Up from 521 in 2014/15
  • To date over 40 Million Invested  in building and maintaining infrastructure in  local communities
  •  Adoption and entrenchment of legitimate leadership and Care &Growth principles as  organisational culture 
  • Advocacy from the Empowerment Programme results in the establishment of a new school in Orange Farm for children with disabilities. 500 children who were not in school in 2014/15 year now accessing their right to education.
